Development of the CERTAIN-LI Registry, the Cooperative EuRopean Paediatric TransplAnt INitiative LIver registry founded by the Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition in Austria, Germany & Switzerland (GPGE), aims to provide pertinent information on the short- and long-term outcome of paediatric liver allograft recipients for clinical research, quality assurance and improved patient care purposes. It co-operates with institutions such as Eurotransplant, CTS Heidelberg, European Liver Transplant Registry (ELTR) and the German Organ Transplantation Foundation DSO (Deutsche Stiftung Organtransplantation). The aim is to involve a large number of paediatric hepatology and transplantation centres toe allow speedy collection of high-quality data needed for reliable scientific analysis.

The CERTAIN-LI Registry is realised as a state-of-the-art web application supporting not only the data entry and quality assurance process but also providing a 24/7 access to the saved data and real-time data analysis for the participating centres.
